I can't see GravityCalendar settings or create a calendar
If the GravityCalendar tab is missing from Gravity Forms form settings, or the calendar creation screen shows a blank page, this is usually caused by missing capabilities on your WordPress role.
What you might see:
- The "Calendar Feeds" tab doesn't appear in Gravity Forms form settings
- Clicking "Create a Calendar" from GravityKit → All Calendars shows a blank/white screen
- The calendar settings were working before but suddenly disappeared
How to fix it
Grant the GravityCalendar capabilities to your role using a role editor plugin like Members.
- Go to Members → Roles
- Click on your role (e.g., Administrator)
- Click "GF Add-Ons" in the sidebar
- Check "GravityCalendar: Form Settings"
- Click Update
- Log out and back in
GravityCalendar Capabilities
| Capability | Members Plugin Label | Controls |
gravityview_calendar |
GravityCalendar: Form Settings | Calendar tab in form settings, create/edit calendars |
gravityview_calendar_uninstall |
GravityCalendar: Uninstall | Uninstall GravityCalendar |
Why this happens
GravityCalendar uses custom capabilities to control access. These can get removed if:
- A role editor plugin modifies your role without preserving GravityCalendar capabilities
- A custom role was created without the necessary capabilities
- The site was migrated from a backup that predates GravityCalendar
If you've added the capabilities and still can't access Calendar settings, contact support.
